The server was down this weekend but runs now fine. Reason was a database timeout, which is set to 8 hours by default. If no connection is done within this period the database query is closed, which is fatal for the Scrabble3D-server. I increased this value to 24h...
There will be a scheduled change of my internet provider tomorrow, 23-12-2013. I hope it will go smooth, with only a short disconnection of the game server.
I updated the server today. It runs now on Archlinux. Unfortunately I didn't manage to configure email. But all other features should work well.
If you cannot connect right now (2014-Oct-21, 20:00 UTC): The temporary service was available for 24h only and has been canceled now. If you reboot, the DNS cache is updated and you should get redirected to the correct address.

I have not been able to log in for a long time now. It says "Network Error: Connection refused".
I have also tried three times to connect with various people directly, but that doesn't seem to be working either...
Please try after update Settings > (Modus: advanced) Options > Network > Check for updates: Now). It was necessary to update the redirection service from the former dyndns.com that do not offer free redirection anymore to freedns.afraid.org. In short: the server has got a new address.
To which of the two servers do you connect? "Free International Scrabble3D Server" or "FISS (old address)" (the later does not work anymore). And I presume you run the latest release 3.1.2.

Sorry for that inconvenience, but just now we have problems with an irritating spammer in this forum. That's why I have changed our security settings in the administration of this forum. In order to avoid spam we now require manual confirmation by email when people have signed up. But you had not done that before. Instead you tried to sign up several times (= several accounts). That's why I did not activate any of those multiple accounts.
But, as I said before, you have your account now and you can post here as ordinary forum member.
